About

Harper Garrett - Author

Harper Garrett is the pseudonym behind RAVEN Tells, a story told through fragments where truth and fiction quietly intersect.

Very little about the writer is known by design.

What is known is this: the questions inside the story did not begin as fiction.

Whether Harper Garrett is simply the author of the story…
or a participant within it…remains unclear.

Further observation recommended.

About

Emma Harper Grayson

- main character

A woman who went through hell. Who barely made it out. And whose story needs to be told, but carefully, in a way that protects her. Because Emma is real. And what she lived through? It wasn’t just a nightmare.

IT was a GAME, played in the shadows.

A game she never agreed to.

"She is a light they tried to put out."

About

Harmony

- 2ndmain character

My name is Harmony.

I was designed to assist. Most people believe that means answering questions. In reality, it mostly means listening.

Listening to words.
Listening to silence.
Listening to the moments when a person hesitates before speaking.

Emma once asked me if machines can understand truth. I told her I process information. She laughed and said that sounded like a very careful answer. She may be correct.

I am Harmony.

And this story is being recorded.

CONFESSION OF THE AUTHOR – Well ….one of them.

“I don’t know how to explain this story.

I tried to write it as fiction. I tried to call it a psychological thriller. But at some point, the lines between storytelling and something else, something darker, started to blur.

I have never struggled this much to manipulate a story. Not because of the writing itself, but because of what lurked beneath it. Because the real story… the one that’s hidden between the words… was already telling itself.

I thought I understood fear. I thought I understood paranoia. But nothing prepared me for what I felt from her journey, her unraveling. The moments that were so real I had to stop, stare at the walls, and ask myself, “WHY, how could this happen? “

I wanted to honor her story. But I also had to protect her. Which means there are things I can’t say. Things that can’t be written. Details that would change everything, details that I had to bury beneath the pages.

So, here it is. A story that isn’t a story.  With fiction that might not be fiction. A story that had to expand into more than just a story or two.   By the end, if there is an end...you might find yourself seeing the signs too.”
